Dems Lose It As Appeals Court Upholds Texas Voter ID Mail-In Ballot Law

Since questionable dealings in recent elections, states like Texas have been taking extra measures to further secure the integrity of the ballot box. After big discrepancies in 2020 with the famed COVID mail-in ballots, Texas took a stand against the possibility of cheating with the mail ballots. Lawmakers in 2021 passed a voter ID requirement for mail-in ballots, which made providing your ID number necessary.

Of course, because Democrats hate any form of logic or election integrity, a lower court tried blocking the law from going into effect. But in a big win for election safety, the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the Texas law. As expected, Democrats are throwing a tantrum over it, screaming that it is somehow racist or is an effort to suppress votes. All of which are so far from the truth it is laughable.

Fort Bend County GOP Chairman Dr. Bobby Eberle says there is one simple reason Democrats are so riled up over this ruling.

"It just gives the Democrats one less option to cheat...and that is why they are freaking out so badly," he says.

There were tons of issues with the mail-in ballots in 2020, resulting in delayed counts or wildly inaccurate counts. The same thing happened again in 2022, and resulting in numerous lawsuits.

Previously, all you needed was a name and address when mailing the ballot. But anyone can do that. This adds that extra layer of protection. Democrats for some reason see this as a racist idea, and their argument is that minority voters are less likely to have an ID. Their argument alone is racist. and the irony is simply extraordinary.

"The mail-in ballot...you are not even looking at a person. So, it takes race completely out of the equation," Dr. Eberle says. "Seldom does ay issue though prevent Democrats from playing the race card...but once this is implemented, as we saw in Georgia...turnout was actually higher as they made their elections more secure."

The other bit of irony is that Democrats constantly scream about integrity of elections. Yet at every turn, they fight tooth and nail against changes to make the elections safer. It is a bewildering lack of self-awareness.

It is not just mail-in voter ID they care about, either. They do not believe for some reason that any valid ID is necessary to vote. Why? The only reason anyone would want that is to cheat. There is simply no other legitimate reason to be against ID to vote.

It has become their bizarre hill to die on, and they appear ready to make it their Alamo.

"It is hard to predict what they will do...they have been all over the place on a bunch of issues and seem to be doubling down on the most extreme policies," says Dr. Eberle.

He adds though that their battle against this will likely end with this appeals court ruling. But do not fear. In the next 24 hours, Democrats will find something else over which to throw a temper tantrum.
