Christian conservatives have done their part over the last several years by voting and letting their voices be heard. Especially with the all-important 2024 election.
But now there is growing call and movement for Christians in the U.S. to do more with their faith. A call to get engaged in spiritual warfare.
"There's acts of persecution against Christianity happening in the United States, many smaller ways that the spiritual warfare is enmeshed with the political warfare that we see" said Joy Pullmann, executive editor at The Federalist.
It's something that people of faith in the U.S. know all to well, and it's been going on from the beginning.
"The Bible is very, very clear that there are other spirits, angels, demons, there is a God, and there is a heaven and a hell. There are unseen realities that exist" Pullmann told KTRH.
And even the Apostle Paul made it clear in the Bible in Ephesians 6:12 -'For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.'
Many Christian teachers say that we are in "the last days", which is why there is a call for more spiritual warfare, and prayer. Joy Pullman also notes that she was inspired to write her story from a book she recently read: reading Spiritual Warfare and Deliverance: How to Minister to the Demonically Oppressed and Possessed, by Rev. Dr. Harold Ristau.
