DHS Now Offering Signing Bonuses To Recruit ICE Agents Amid Democrat Doxing

Democrats have become unhinged about the Trump Administration's efforts to secure the border. They have attacked Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, exposed their personal information, and threatened to kill them for simply doing their jobs. It is a whole new realm of lunacy for a party that has free fallen into irrelevance.

So, as they continue throwing temper tantrums over ICE agents rightfully deporting criminal illegal aliens, many ICE agents have become fearful. Not because some lunatic threatens them, that happens all the time. But because they have families. They are regular people with jobs to do. Because there is a shortage of ICE officers as well, they are overwhelmed with no real backup.

In an effort to hire more agents, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is now offering $50,000 singing bonuses, which also applies to agents who have been retired less than 5 years. All of it in efforts to bolster the ranks and continue laying down the rule of law.

Retired ICE Special Agent Victor Avila says offering this to former agents will help expedite and fill the need for bodies on the front line.

"They are already trained...we need the people now, versus a new hire who has to go to the academy...which can take four to six months," he says.

Part of President Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill has funds earmarked for hiring 10,000 new agents to help in deportation efforts. Since that has passed and been signed, the real work can begin.

"You will see a surge of manpower that is much needed...now that the funding is there...they actually have money to bring these officers back, and send them into the field immediately," says Avila.

For a long time, especially under the Biden Administration's disastrous open border policy, ICE agents became overworked, underpaid, and burnt out. Dealing with over 250,000 border encounters per month will do that to anyone.

When you factor in attacks, the desire to keep doing the job decreases. DHS has said there has been an 830 percent increase in attacks on ICE agents this year. They have had rocks thrown at them, threatened to be shot, and had people threaten their families.

All of it in some deranged and deluded temper tantrum by the Left, who would rather keep criminal illegals in the country. Once again, they will end up on the wrong side of history.

"These men and women are out there just enforcing the law...just like any police officer or any other federal agent," Avila says.

None of this intense recruitment effort would be necessary if the Democrats could control emotions and be mature. But that is another quality which they lack, and another reason the party is dying.
