Elon Musk's Third-Party Threats Delight Democrats

Elon Musk is not backing down on his threats to launch a new, third political party, and it's much to the delight of Democrats who desperate for any kind of an opening. It's something we've seen before.

"Historically, a third party has always been to the benefit of the Democrat party" said political expert Dan Snell, author of the 'Winsome Candidate'.

If you remember, third party candidate Ross Perot cost president Bush 41 the election in 1992.

"Back in the Bill Clinton and the George H.W. Bush battle, Ross Perot took 18% of the vote for president, and that led to victory for Bill Clinton" Snell told KTRH.

So the question now is, could Elon Musk be the next Ross Perot?

"I do not believe that Elon Musk can himself could become a factor in American politics" noted Snell, "There's a lot of things that come into place when you have a third party, and I don't think he has the wherewithal or the acumen as Ross Perot had."

A new poll found that 63% of Americans support the idea of a third party, but 74% were -against- Elon, as the one leading it.
