Kerr County Reduces Number Missing In Floods From 160 to 3

Finally some good news may be changing the numbers after the deadly floods. Officials in Kerr County have reduced the number of people considered missing in the county, from more than 160, to only 3 people still considered unaccounted for.

The latest figures come from the Kerr County Flood Disaster Joint Information Center. County officials say many of those who had been missing have now been reported to have been found safe.  

At this point 135 people are known to have died when intense rains during the 4th of July holiday caused flash flooding, particularly along the Guadalupe River in Kerr County.
