The “Russiagate” scandal could be on its way to criminal charges for former Obama Administration officials, and there may now be whistleblowers to back them up.
National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard says recently declassified documents show a conspiracy by the Obama White House to target incoming President Trump after the 2016 election. Gabbard says she has sent that information to the Department of Justice for possible prosecution and indictments. She also says that, since announcing her findings, she has heard from people who were part of the administration at the time who are now willing to talk about what happened. “We have whistleblowers actually coming forward now, after we’ve released these documents,” she said, “because they too want to see justice delivered. There must be indictments.”
Gabbard says a series of memos reveal an attempt to artificially create an intelligence narrative that implicated President Trump in working with the Russians to rig the 2016 elections, despite intelligence analyses at the time that specifically said the Russians were not, and could not.
Gabbard declared “those responsible, no matter how powerful they are and were at that time, no matter who was involved in creating this treasonous conspiracy against the American people, they all must be held accountable.”
