Just when it appeared Democrats' popularity couldn't get any worse, they're saying 'hold my beer.' On the heels of multiple polls showing the Dems underwater with the public and even with their own voters, a new poll raises even more cause for alarm. The survey taken in May and June by the Democratic super PAC Unite the Country finds support among key Democrat constituencies tanking. The party's approval among Hispanic men and working class voters is below 35%, and only 35% of Democrat voters are optimistic about the party's future.
That number among Hispanic men is particularly notable, as it follows similar patterns of declining support for Democrats by black men and male voters overall. Larry Ward, chair of the pro-Trump Constitutional Rights PAC, believes the lack of male support is the ultimate factor in the Democratic Party's decline. "I recently looked at some DNC literature, and what they actually said is they were looking to learn how to talk to men without appearing like they hate them," says Ward. "And that's the problem, is you can't really appeal to a constituency that you despise."
Ward tells KTRH that Democrats would be wise to embrace someone like Stephen A. Smith, who has a strong following among men. But they won't because he's not woke enough. Similarly, they chased off podcast powerhouse Joe Rogan, who was once a liberal Democrat. "The problem is angry, white, female, liberals--the AWFULS as I call them," says Ward. "That is the constituency that runs the Democrat Party, it is the power base, it is the one that funds them...that's the one constituency Democrats are terrified of and will never go up against."
"The hatred and bitterness toward men and masculinity...it really is going to be the death knell for the Democratic Party for generations," he continues
