A 24-year-old California man, Noah Lamb, has been indicted for allegedly conspiring to create a hit list targeting federal officials. Prosecutors claim Lamb was a member of "The Terrorism Collective," a white supremacist group using the encrypted messaging platform Telegram. The group promotes "white supremacist accelerationism," which believes in the superiority of the white race and advocates for violence to incite a race war and collapse the government.

According to the indictment, the group developed a "kill list" of "high value targets," including a U.S. senator, federal judges, a former U.S. attorney, and other state and local officials. Each target was reportedly chosen based on race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. The list allegedly contained detailed personal information, including home addresses, which Lamb was responsible for gathering.

Acting U.S. Attorney Michele Beckwith for the Eastern District of California stated that the individuals were targeted due to their perceived opposition to the group's ideology. The identities of the officials on the list have not been disclosed.
