In addition to passing the one 'Big, Beautiful Bill', president Trump is also unleashing the oil boom that he promised by with a record number of new drilling permits.
"It was a shot across the bow to the bureaucracy" said Tim Stewart, president of the U.S. Oil and Gas Association, "It's very welcome by the industry that's for sure, certainly a welcome change from the Biden administration."
The Trump administration is already issuing roughly 600 new permits a month, which a 44% increase compared to the 'war on the oil industry' Biden administration.
"It's good for the American consumer, it's good for American workers as well because the jobs stay here and we don't have rely on foreign oil to fuel our economy" Stewart told KTRH.
So, with all of that said, what are the impacts of all of these new permits?
"What this does is, it opens up new exploration opportunities for companies and allows them to diversify their portfolio" noted Steward, "So, ultimately I think it will be a great opportunity, and it's going to be a great return for the taxpayers as well."
It's worth noting the public support in 'green' energy has already dropped by almost 20% nationwide.
As president Trump posted on social media: “To The Department of Energy: Drill, Baby, Drill!!! And I mean now!!!”
