In what was largely expected on Wednesday night, the San Antonio Spurs selected Rutgers point guard Dylan Harper with the second overall pick in the NBA Draft.
Harper, who is the son of former NBA player Ron Harper, averaged 19 points per game and 4 assists per game in his one year at Rutgers. He is one of two five-star recruits to ever play for the Scarlet Knights.
The Spurs also had the 14th overall selection in the draft, taking forward Carter Bryant from Arizona.
Bryant was a top 30 recruit, who spent one season with the Wildcats.
The second round of the NBA draft is Thursday night.
