President Trump appeared alongside top members of his cabinet, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President J.D. Vance, to address the nation following strikes against multiple Iranian nuclear facilities.
In the speech, Trump announced that four nuclear sites had been targeted by the U.S., stating, “A short time ago, the U.S. military carried out massive precision strikes on three key nuclear facilities in the nuclear regime.”
He went on to say that the goal of the strikes was to destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and stop the nuclear threat Iran poses. He called the attacks a “spectacular military success.”
Trump then demanded that Iran make peace, warning that if it doesn’t, future strikes will be “far greater and much easier.”
The President also took the time to congratulate the pilots who flew the bombers, saying, "Hopefully, we will no longer need their services in this capacity. I hope that's so."
