At a press conference earlier today, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that President Trump will be making a decision about America's involvement in the Israel-Iran war within the next two weeks.
Leavitt read a statement from President Trump at the briefing that said, “Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiation that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to intervene within the next two weeks.”
Potential U.S. involvement in the conflict has been hotly debated by members of Trump's base online, with concerns about Iran obtaining and possibly using a nuclear weapon against the United States clashing with the desire by many members of the right to avoid yet another war in the Middle East.
