There are several 'No Kings' protests underway in DFW.
In fact there are eight; in Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Denton, Frisco, McKinney, Flower Mound, and Burleson.
In order to keep the peace and make sure they do not turn violent the way anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles did this week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott is deploying 5,000 National Guard troops to various locations across Texas.
Abbott did the same thing in San Antonio this week, and only two people were detained in a protest Wednesday night.
