Construction continues on the massive 11-acre Ismaili Islamic Center, which is still scheduled to open this fall along Allen Parkway, in Houston.
Dr. Alex McFarland is an expert, author, and speaker. And he also has some concerns.
"I have a concern with the growth of Islam in the West" said McFarland, "And ultimately, Islam does not assimilate with the West."
That is something that is not an opinion, and something that is not a secret.
"Even on one of the Ismaili websites, someone asked the question, are Ismaili Muslims to obey the law of the land, and one of the Imam's said, yes but only to a point" Dr. McFarland told KTRH.
It is something that they are already dealing with in France and Germany.
"I believe the goal of these center's is to grow Islam, and ultimately pass that tipping point where by, the American Constitution falls to Sharia law" noted Dr. McFarland.
And while that may sound extreme, it is already happening.
Meanwhile, these centers are popping up across the U.S. and the world. It's also worth noting that in Monterey, California, several churches were denied the opportunity to buy land to build new facilities. But the government officials, citing 'inclusion', did say yes, to building another Islamic Center.
