Experts and commentators have been dissecting the latest federal government report on jobs and are finding some promising results from efforts by the Trump administration so far.
The trend during the years of the Biden presidency was for an increasing number of jobs going to illegal immigrants, but that's changed.
Breitbart Texas Associate Editor Bob Price says the trend appears to be in reverse -- following strong efforts by the Trump White House, a growing number of jobs are going to US citizens.
Since President Donald Trump took office, about 125 million new jobs went to citizens, according to recent analyses.
"I think that's a reflection from what's going on with the decreased number of border crossings, people coming into the country illegally, that would be competing for new jobs.
And Price says it's encouraging that the number of federal government workers dropped by 22,000 in the latest report, released Friday.
"The decrease in government sector jobs and the corresponding increase in the private sector is good, because that's where tax revenue is produced.
And there could be more benefits for citizens: "I think you're going to see the American worker is going to get a boost in their take-home pay in addition to some of the tax credits that are going to be kekpt in place.
