ABC Correspondent Terry Moran Suspended Over Post Attacking Trump, Miller

ABC Senior National Correspondent Terry Moran is off the job for a social media post attacking President Trump and top Trump advisor Stephen Miller. The network has suspended Moran.

In a late-night post on X, Moran expostulated on, as he put it, “what’s interesting about Miller.”

“It’s not brains. It’s bile,” Moran wrote. “Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He’s a world-class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate.”

Trump then goes on to say also of the president, “Trump is a world-class hater.”

The post was later deleted.

“This is unacceptable and unhinged rhetoric coming from someone who works for a major television network,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt in an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo. “ABC is going to have to answer for what their so-called ‘journalist’ put out.”

Moran was suspended within a matter of hours and ABC released a statement saying “ABC News stands for objectivity and impartiality in its news coverage and does not condone subjective personal attacks on others. The post does not reflect the views of ABC News and violated our standards.”

Leavitt said the post illustrated a media culture the Trump Administration has been working to reform. “This speaks to the mistrust the American Public have in the legacy media,” she said.
