Texan Says Biden Doctor May Have Conflict of Interest

A Texan who was part of the White House staff says there may have been some conflict of interest in how former President Joe Biden was medically treated during his years as president.

Dr. Ronny Jackson is from Levelland, near Lubbock, a former US Navy officer who's now a US House representative from his home state, but was once the White House physician under presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump for a number of years.

He appeared Sunday on a Fox News program and was asked why none of the former president's medical problems were in his public records.

"The reason is Dr. O'Connor was his physician for eight years when Biden was vice president, and he literally became part of the Biden family," Jackson told Maria Bartaromo on "Sunday Morning Futures."

Dr. Kevin O'Connor has been known for years as being close with the Bidens, since he helped treat Beau Biden, the former president's son who died of brain cancer.

Dr. Jackson, implying there are ethical questions about Dr. O'Connor's relationship with the Biden family, has been called into question before. With recent concerns about who controlled the White House during the Biden presidency if he was in a declining mental state, O'Conner was questioned about his referring to President Biden's statement last year that Biden was in "excellent health."

The US House of Representatives has called a hearing for June 18th, after the House Oversight committee recently launched an investigation into what it said was a coverup of Mr. Biden's mental decline, and use of the White House autopen.

Committee members say they believe they've identified "the four staffers they believe actually took the documents and placed them in the autopen," rather than having President Biden sign them himself, said committee chairman James Comer.

There is also talk that former First Lady Jill Biden will be among those called to testify about Biden's mental competence during his presidency and what duties he was able -- and not able -- to perform.
