President Trump gave Elon Musk a special gold key, along with a formal send-off from the Oval Office.
Trump thanked Musk, while pointing out all of the abuse he has taken from the left. Musk then said he will still be a friend and advisor, and that he expects 'DOGE' to still keep it's $1 trillion in cuts promise over time.
Then there was the other story, which was Musk's black eye. So what happened and where did he get it?
After joking about French President Emmanuel Macron, Musk said, quote: "I just was horsing around with little X," Musk said, referring to his five-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii. "And I said, ‘Go ahead, punch me in the face.’ And he did. Turns out even a 5-year-old punching you in the face… actually does this." Which prompted Trump to reply, "That was X that did that?"
Musk then made sure to get across his main message: "This is not the end of DOGE," he told reporters. "Only the beginning."
