After 2 separate rulings against president Trump's tariffs, the 3rd time was the charm as a federal appeals court granted the Trump administration’s request to temporarily pause a lower-court ruling that struck down most of President Donald Trump’s tariffs.
Earlier today, the Trump administration told the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit that it would seek emergency relief from the Supreme Court as soon as tomorrow, if the tariff ruling was not quickly put on pause.
The Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit granted the emergency motion from the Trump administration arguing that a halt is “critical for the country’s national security.”
With federal judges across the country overreaching to try and stop the Trump administration's agenda, this is a rare temporary victory.
