It turns out Texas Congressman Chip Roy doesn't just want to block Democrat spending.

Roy was part of a group of Republicans to vote against President Trump's 'Big, Beautiful Bill,' the legislation to advance his administration's agenda, on Friday.

This does not mean that the bill has failed. The House Budget Committee will work through the weekend and try another vote on Sunday. That said, Roy has warned the White House that unless things change, his no vote will remain a no vote.

“Something needs to change or you’re not going to get my support,” Roy said.

Roy also took to X to explain why he's blocking the bill for now. You can check it out below.
