Trump Calls On Local Cops To Super-Charge Deportations

According to a new report, the Trump administration is looking to boost deportations across the U.S. by using local cops to help out. Something that is not a new idea.

"What we're talking about here is the 287-G program, which is actually not new" said retired ICE agent Victor Avila, "It's kind of resurfacing obviously, because it's the locals that know where these individuals are located."

The question now is, will it work?

"It's proven to work" Avila told KTRH, "But, there are sheriff's and there are police chiefs that refuse to call ICE when they encounter an illegal alien."

Which is another crime, in and of itself.

In the meantime, so far DHS has signed almost 600 agreements with state and local law enforcement groups across the U.S.

The goal is to deport one million illegals per year.
