President Trump is trying to do his part, but there is still one big thing that needs to be done to make America great again. Red state 'RINO's' need to be held accountable.
"When you look at states, whether it's Texas or states like Florida, it's not about the quantity of the Republican majority, it's about the quality of the Republicans in that majority" said Shawn Fleetwood, who wrote about the GOP problem for The Federalist.
And sadly, it's not just a problem in 'red states', it's really become an issue nationwide.
"You have the swamp in Washington D.C., but we also have 50 swamp's across the country in state capitals" Fleetwood told KTRH, "And that's completely true when you just look at these numerous examples that I listed in the article of these so-called 'red states' just repeatedly fighting the priorities of their voters."
The big question is, with the 'MAGA' movement bigger than ever, why is this still happening?
"You know that you are not going to get elected in a super conservative state or area with a 'D' next to your name" noted Fleetwood, "So what do you do? You run as a Republican."
Something we see happening far too often here in Texas, as Democrat backed Dustin Burrows and Dade Phelan, continue to block conservative bills.
