The Bureau of Labor Statistics has released their April jobs numbers, and in a major win for the Trump economy, those April numbers blew past the Dow Jones expectation of 133,000 jobs added.

The actual official number came in at a whopping 177,000 jobs added, with 51,000 jobs added in healthcare and 29,000 added in the transportation and warehousing sectors.

Charles Payne reacted to the numbers on Fox Business and pointed out how the job growth in the transportation and warehousing sectors blows up the mainstream media narrative about the economy. He said, "Those are the jobs that were supposed to be hit." He says this could be an indicator that Trump's economic reforms may already be starting to take effect.

Economist Steve Moore also echoed that sentiment, saying, "I feel very good about this. I'm very relieved that the businesses are sticking with it, and they're staying open, and they're staying on full throttle."

It's also worth noting that while jobs across the private sector soared, federal government employment actually fell by around 9,000 jobs. This could be the result of the work that Elon Musk and the DOGE team have done to cut wasteful jobs and spending at the federal level.
