Even though approval ratings for the Democrat party at an all-time low, it appears that the large contingent of 'center-left' Democrats has been left behind.
And most believe, they are not coming back. At least not back into their party.
"They are not going to compromise with what's left of the center-left in terms of what sort of modified version of socialism is acceptable to them" said political writer Steve McCann, who detailed the demise for American Thinker.
He notes that this not new, it's actually been in the works for decades. But this is the end result for the radical progressives.
"The Marxist's effectively control the Democrat Party" McCann told KTRH, "They also have a very strong control of the legacy media, and they also have quite a stranglehold on the judiciary."
All things we have seen even here in Houston, like just last week when radical Democrats went crazy after mayor John Whitmire attended a charity fundraising event thrown by Republican congressman, Dan Crenshaw.
"At this stage of the game the center-left has pretty much become a non-entity within the Democrat party" noted McCann, "The Marxist's know that they dominate the left side of the political spectrum."
And they are not going to give up that power anytime soon.
