FBI Cuffs Wisconsin Judge for Allegedly Shielding Illegal Alien from Arrest

The FBI has arrested a Wisconsin judge for allegedly hiding a previously deported illegal immigrant in her jury room.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested Friday morning and charged with obstruction of an official proceeding after it was discovered that she was shielding the migrant from ICE agents. According to a criminal complaint, Dugan was also charged with concealing an individual to prevent discovery and arrest.

Federal agents from ICE, FBI, CBP and DEA attempted to arrest the undocumented male - Mexican national Eduardo Flores-Ruiz - following his scheduled criminal court appearance before Dugan on April 18. Flores-Ruiz was facing three misdemeanor battery charges.

The complaint states that Dugan had escorted Flores-Ruiz and his attorney out a restricted jury door after his hearing had ended, bypassing the public area where agents were waiting for him.

Dugan had previously disputed local reporting that she had been shielding the illegal migrant from being arrested by ICE.
