Wall Street Journal Says Trump Should Open The Border To Economic Migrants

Now that president Donald Trump has completely secured the border, the Wall Street Journal said in an op-ed that it's time for Trump to start allowing more 'economic migrants' into the U.S.

However many conservatives are pushing back, noting that after 4 years of a wide open border under Joe Biden, it's way too soon.

"This is not the time for that" said Bob Price, editor with Breitbart Texas, "Right now we're still dealing with a crisis, and there's still 11 million people that are in this country that are not supposed to be here and we have to deal with that."

But with all of economic ups and downs due to the tariffs, many companies are still looking for cheap labor.

"The H-1B Visa system needs to be completely revamped, it's totally abused by employers" Price told KTRH, "But right now, this is not the time."

Not until the clean-up is complete from the Biden-border crisis.

"I think until that gets dealt with, it's going to be hard to get anybody in Congress, particularly on the Republican side of the aisle to do any kind of meaningful immigration reform" noted Price, "You want to have legal migration, but right now this is not the time."

Most conservatives would likely agree.
