Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is demanding more records relating to the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC). This time, he’s demanding them from the Plano ISD.

In a press release this morning, Paxton’s office said that he has been made aware of "potential connections between school board members and EPIC."

EPIC is already facing a number of investigations for numerous alleged infractions, including everything from running an unlicensed funeral business to building without proper permits.

Paxton said in a statement, "My office is demanding documents from Plano ISD officials who may have communicated with individuals involved with EPIC as part of our ongoing investigation into this development. We will thoroughly review the records we receive and hold anyone who violates Texas law accountable."
