Despite Several Measures, Girls Are Still Being Forced To Play Against Boys

Remember back on February 5th, when president Donald Trump signed the executive order protecting women's sports? It's been over 2 months, and yet girls are still being forced to compete against boys across the country. Even here in Texas.

"A number of districts in the Dallas area were suggesting that boys could circumvent the law by amending their birth certificate" said Logan Washburn, reporter at The Federalist, "Thankfully, AG Ken Paxton announced investigations in Texas. But even in the blue states, the federal government has to just step in and assert it's authority to protect girls who are having their rights violated."

In the meantime, Riley Gaines continues to gain ground, with great working being done at the Leadership Institute.

"This issue is an 80/20 issue, even 67% of Democrats don't agree with this" said Paula Scanlan, Special Projects Ambassador, for the Riley Gaines Center at the Leadership Institute, "So, this should be one of the easiest issues to put to bed forever. We just have to keep bringing awareness to these stories, and continue to fight this."

Trump's EO was a great start, but now congress needs to step up and close the loopholes. Even here in Texas.
