Ever since Trump took office, mainstream media and the left has been attacking him on the economy non-stop, despite the fact that they spent four years ignoring Joe Biden's struggling economy.
It's starting to like like they're rooting for a recession, just to use it against trump. Despite recent strong economic number from Trump, they're still trying to manufacture issues. They've even gone as far as to blame Trump for the rising cost of eggs, a problem that began in January of 2024, when Biden was President.
Economist Vance Ginn pointed out that, "They're starting to highlight some of the problems with the labor market, that where already there during the Biden Administration, but now they're trying to highlight them during the Biden Administration."
Ginn thinks that this effort to manufacture an economic crisis, and then blame it on Trump, is all part of their ongoing effort to cover for Biden's bad economy. He said, "They're hiding what was going on during the Biden administration, and now we're seeing exposure of the failed policies of the federal government."
Ginn says that thanks to Joe Biden's disastrous "Bidenomics," the U.S. economy was already extremely fragile by the time Trump took office, and it was being propped up primarily by exessive government spending. That's why in the unlikely event that a recession does occur, he says it will be Biden's fault, not Trumps.
He went on to point out that Trump's economic moves have actually gone a long way to repair the economy, as indicated by the fact that inflation has began to slow in February, and Trump has managed to secure billions of dollars of investment into the U.S. economy from foreign companies.
Ginn also thinks that leftwing fearmongering about a recession is doing far more to cause one than any of Trump's economic policies.
