Grand Prairie Officer Albert "AJ" Castaneda Jr. was involved in a crash Friday morning on President George Bush Turnpike and taken to Medical City Arlington where he died a few hours later from his injuries.
Police say the incident occurred near Dickey Road and investigators are still working to determine how the crash happened. The officer was out of his vehicle running radar at the time.
