The Texas Rangers announced that effective immediately, Jeff Banister is no longer the manager. Don Wakamatsu will serve the remainder of the 2018 season as interim manager.
Banister is leaving after 4 seasons with the team and ends his 2018 career with the Rangers with a record of 64-88.
