Survey: Harassment Happens In The Workplace…But Not Mine

A new survey reveals a confusing thought process with American workers.

According to a new NBC News/Survey Money poll, more than four of five workers believe that sexual harassment happens in the workplace. But…just nine-percent say it’s a problem at their workplace.

The strong belief in their solid workplace continues with three-quarters believe that their workplace demonstrates about the right amount of sensitivity on the emotionally-charged issue.

Those polled believe harassment is not a bigger problem, it’s just people are now speaking up about it. Interestingly, only 46-percent of men say they’ve thought more about their behavior since the avalanche of scandals broke.
