President Donald Trump claimed that all his children have a future in politics, boasting that they "were born very smart," during his exclusive interview with the New York Post's Miranda Devine on her podcast Pod Force One released on Wednesday (June 11).

“I don’t know. I mean, I don’t know. I think all of them probably have a future in politics, frankly. And Don is very good. A good guy. He’s an outdoorsman,” Trump replied when asked if his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., might run for president.

“Eric has done a fantastic job,” the president continued. “Barron is great. He is very tall and good. Ivanka, you know Ivanka? Yes. Very well. She’s so great. And Tiffany has done really well. She went to a great law school and did very well. Always a good student.”

Don Jr. was the most outspoken of the president's children during his father's 2024 campaign and was reported to have lobbied aggressively for Vice President JD Vance to be selected as his running mate. The younger Trump also hosts a biweekly podcast, Triggered With Don Jr., addressing political issues, however, insisted that he had "ZERO interest in running for office in [20]28 or anytime soon" in a post shared on his X account.

Trump's youngest son, Barron, a freshman at New York University, has been praised by Republicans as a standout star of the Trump family, having been credited for his father's spike in support from the under-30 demographic. President Trump previously revealed that his teenage son was influential in him doing interviews on podcasts targeting a younger males, which included appearances on the Joe Rogan Experience, This Past Weekend with Theo Von, Flagrant with comedian Andrew Schulz, Logan Paul's Impaulsive and Barstool Sports' Bussin' with the Boys, during his campaign.

Eric Trump has served as a trustee and executive vice president of the Trump organization while his wife Lara, a former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, now hosts the FOX News show My View with Lara Trump. The president's eldest daughter, Ivanka, and her husband, Jared Kushner, previously served in her father's first administration but have largely steered away from policies during his 2024 campaign and second term.

Tiffany Trump, the president's only child with ex-wife Marla Maples, has also consistently kept a low profile, welcoming her first child with husband Michael Boulos last month.
