Sunday is deadline day for Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
The three-term Texas Governor has until midnight to either sign or veto legislation that passed during the most recent legislative session. Over the last few days, the Governor has signed hundreds of bills.
In fact, he just signed 300 into law over the last couple of days. That includes a law that requires public schools in Texas to display the Ten Commandments.
Among the bills that Governor Abbott has yet to decide on is the statewide ban on THC. This was legislation pushed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick. Abbott has been non-committal on the issue. However, SB3 has been criticized from both sides of the political aisle. It has also been panned by Veterans groups and the multi-billion dollar Texas hemp industry.
