Shawn Mendes Bounces Back After Fall on Stage At Quebec Concert (VIDEO)

Shawn Mendes

Is Shawn Mendes secretly a ninja? You may be asking yourself after watching this video from the Canadian singer/songwriter's recent Quebec show.

While on stage performing — without his guitar — Shawn jumped from an elevated part of the stage to a lower part, but upon landing, he ended up falling. But despite his graceful tumble, the 19-year-old shot right back up and continued singing without missing a beat! What talent! See the video below.

After seeing the clip surface on social media via a fan account, Shawn was able to laugh at his own fall by retweeting the footage and wrote along with it making light of the situation, "LOL yep. Im ok but also that was insane hahahahaha."

We're glad you're OK, Shawn!

Shawn also shared of the Quebec concert on Twitter afterwards, "Quebec tonight was absolutely insane, thank you for singing with me! X"

Yep, leave it to Shawn Mendes to look like a graceful angel while falling on stage in front of thousands of fans, and then laughing it off the next day after going viral. And Shawn wasn't the only one laughing, as his fans immediately made his stage fall into a meme on social media. The Mendes Army had edited together footage of the tumble with other videos, including parts of Star Wars, Ariana Grande's "No Tears Left To Cry" music video, and more. See the best of the memes below.

Shawn is currently performing at a handful of headlining dates and a few music festivals (including the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this September), before kicking off his headlining world tour, in support of his new album, next year.

Mendes released his self-titled full-length album back in May, which follows 2016's Illuminate, and showcases 14 new songs including its lead single "In My Blood" and tracks like "Lost In Japan," "Nervous," "Youth" featuring Khalid, and more.
