As the details of sexual misconduct allegations against Matt Lauer continue to come out, NBC is now under the microscope.
In the article, “Variety” says that several women complained to executives at NBC about Lauer’s behavior, but it “fell on deaf ears.” The ratings for “Today” had planted it firmly at number one in the ratings at that time.
NBC has declined to comment on that part of the story. Network executives did know that the publication was working on the “Matt Lauer Exposed” story that has revealed the allegedly long time misbehavior by the one time golden child of NBC.
