Forbes Releases 2017 List of the World's Highest Paid Athletes

Lebron James may have moved up from the third spot on Forbes 2017 Worlds Highest-Paid Athletes list, but The King was unable to unseat Soccer Star Cristiano Ronaldo. 


For the second year in a row, Ronaldo took the top spot with his annual earnings at 93 million dollars. 58 million was earned from salary/earnings, with 35 million earned from endorsements. Other notables were NBA Pro Kevin Durant (#5), Golfer Rory McIlroy (#6) and Auto Racer Lewis Hamilton (#10). Tennis Star Serena Williams was the only female athlete to make the Top 100, coming in at number 51.
